“ It was a pleasant surprise: after reaching the end of the Obersee lake (very pretty, surrounded by an easy circular trail), we found signs for the mountain hut, a 20-minute descent along not-too-demanding trails. We had already had lunch, so we opted for the unusual apple tiramisu, which exceeded all expectations, starting with the presentation of the dish, truly remarkable and meticulously crafted, not to mention the deliciousness, truly top-notch. The prompt, punctual, and courteous service of the young woman who looked after us was much appreciated. The restrooms were very clean and well-maintained. I'll save the fifth star for the food and ambiance for another time, when perhaps we can have a full lunch, perhaps inside the restaurant. Definitely worth a visit. We returned after a year, and this place fully deserves the fifth star. The service is always prompt and courteous, and the food is top-notch in terms of quality and preparation. The barley soup and cheeses produced directly on the mountain pasture were excellent. The whipped cream that accompanied the currant strudel was divinely fresh. Well done, we'll be back again. ”

“ A lovely mountain hut, but very small inside. The staff is very friendly and speaks good Italian. They serve food quickly. They produce fresh milk. Plenty of outdoor space for sunny days. ”

“ Our friends took us here as they loved it so much while vacationing in the area last year. It did not disappoint. We had the local cheese boards and they were gobbled up quickly. We elected to sit outside on the patio and enjoy the views. Our waiter was delightful and he made great recommendations. We had a great dining experience thanks to the friends, service and food! “ Our favorite place for delicious traditional meals in the area If you are looking for an exceptional culinary experience - marvelous presentation as well as amazing taste, definitely visit this Alm. The bulding itself has such a beautiful architecture and aura and the views are stunning. The owners make their own cheese, which is so good, so please try their cheese plate if you visit. We also love their tagliatelle and they REALLY know how to make the best potatoes here. I like to order a glass of milk too - it just hits different than the supermarket milk. I also have to say some kind words about the staff, because everybody is so professional and kind, that you will feel like in a michelin star restaurant. ”

“ A highlight of our trip from Australia to Austria. Beautiful food. I had the housemade pasta and fruit tiramisu, my partner had potatoes, speck and eggs. We both had a glass of housemade elderflower juice. Thoughtful and delicious, and in gorgeous surroundings. I hope to return again one day. ”
